A Brief Summary of This Position:
The Global Customer Experience Specialist enters, schedules, reviews, accepts, administers and invoices irrigation system orders, sprinkler packages and parts orders for the assigned territory. The incumbent coordinates orders with shipping, manufacturing, purchasing and logistics to ensure best customer service and response. The incumbent strives to ensure accuracy and completeness of all orders giving attention to scheduling to optimum utilization of capacity and customer satisfaction. The CES will collaborate with internal cross-functional teams involved in supporting the order. The incumbent will also support the sales team with various administrative tasks including V2O order entry, customer account tracking, and logistics coordination. The CES may be responsible for running daily reports and providing support for the others in the department including the Lead-Global Customer Experience Specialist.
Provide oversight on activities relating to assigned areas of irrigation systems and part orders including initiating, prioritizing and scheduling of shipments and coordinating processing of orders with all Valmont departments and dealerships
Schedule orders and provide guidance to customers to ensure the pricing and applicable discounts and incentives are correct. Schedule orders to maximize profitability based on cost of goods, freight and availability
Enters, schedules, review, accepts, administers, and invoices irrigation system orders, sprinkler packages and parts orders assigned to the territory
Understands VSOC structure and process
Maintain 90% adherence in maintaining contacts in Salesforce/Sales Cloud
Maintain professional business relationship with Global Operations personnel and internal cross-functional teams supporting dealer orders
Monitor and reporting any system malfunctions to IS group
Responsible to determine accurate costs for all systems including newly released and experimental models to be able to provide margin and sales analysis reports for marketing and financial teams
Attend scheduled meetings on behalf of Lead Customer Experience Specialist and report appropriately
Provide guidance to Customer Experience Specialists when needed
This position reports into the Global Customer Experience Manager and does not have any direct or indirect reports
This role requires up to 5% travel (internationally/domestically), including overnight stays
Flexible schedule however must be able to work in the office 2 days per week
Required Qualifications of Every Candidate (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
Bachelor degree with 3+ years or Associates degree with 5+ years or 7+ years of relevant experience
Excellent skills with Microsoft Office applications-Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
Knowledge of ERP software and program concepts
Knowledge of and experience working in Salesforce or similar CRM
Flexible-ability to transform with shifting priorities, demands and timelines
Decisive problem solving ability and capability to assess people and situations with accuracy
Confident self-starter with integrity and accountability and team player
Exception project management and leadership skills
Outstanding oral and written communication skills
Effectively and persuasively present complex information in a simple way to executive level audiences
Highly Qualified Candidates Will Also Possess These Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in order management of agricultural/irrigation products
Ability to determine priorities and ability to satisfy customer without over scheduling the system
Excellent customer service skills while working in a fast paced environment
Working Environment and Physical Efforts:
Work is typically performed in an office setting. The incumbent is regularly required to sit for extended periods of time, as well as talk and listen on the phone and in personal conversations or meetings. Environment is fast paced and demanding most of the time. No travel requirements for this position. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms while working in the office with various files and forms and while working on the computer. The employee is occasionally required to move about the office. Incumbent must utilize proper ergonomic safeguards such as monitor height and positions, keyboard location and height and proper wrists rests. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds in working with large files, binders, and computer equipment. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
Domestic and International travel represents up to 5% of the work schedule and includes transportation via ground and air travel. While visiting Valmont manufacturing areas, the use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is required at all times.
