Check out our Electrical Assembler role that starts at $20.54/hour + shift differential. We are looking for 2nd Shift: Monday through Thursday 3:00PM to 1:00AM. Training may initially occur on 1st Shift: Monday through Thursday 5:00AM to 3:00PM.

A Brief Summary of This Position

As an Electrical Assembler 1 you will assemble modules, pivot panels and parts to meet blueprint specifications. You will also perform inspections of components and parts for defects before assembly. We operate in a safe manner and you will perform daily TPM's (Total Preventive Maintenance).

Essential Functions:

  • Operate hand and air tools including saws and wire terminating machines

  • Operate jib crane and hoist

  • Read and follow production blueprints, technical manuals and instructions

  • Visually inspect components for defects before assembly

  • Perform continuity tests

  • Write reject and move shortage tags

  • Ability to bend and pivot as well as lift, push and pull objects weighing 25 pounds throughout the shift.

  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment

Required Qualifications of Every Candidate (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)

  • Read and follow production blueprints, technical manuals and instructions

  • Able to use hand tools in a professional environment

  • Perform mathematical calculations in preparing product or setting up electrical equipment

  • Use a tape measure and calculator

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methodology

Highly Qualified Candidates Will Also Possess These Qualifications

  • Prior wiring or electrical experience

  • Electrical troubleshooting experience

  • Knowledge of QAD
