A Brief Summary of This Position:
The Customer Experience Supervisor leads a team and is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the Customer Experience Team. This responsibility includes analyzing territory management, order flow, and invoicing activity as well as reporting sales orders, loading and shipping activity for both whole and part goods to various levels of management at Valmont. The Customer Experience Supervisor also manages training and development activities for the team and inform various departments and Valmont management of issues/changes. This position works closely and attends weekly meetings with the Customer Experience team, Shipping and Traffic departments to monitor order activity, ship dates, delivery times, and learn of any shortages or delivery issues. The Customer Experience Supervisor works with the team to respond appropriately when dealers report shortages and/or errors.
Drive people and process initiatives to optimize the Customer experience end-to-end. Recommends tools, training, support and expectations to continuously drive a positive customer experience.
Select, onboard, manage, train, motivate, and evaluate all direct reports. Supports the development and coaching of employees within your organization.
Develop and track performance priorities for direct reports and provide regular feedback
Support the development of product and process improvements based on Customer feedback using lean management
Work cross-functionally with Product Management, Marketing, Engineering, Operations and Sales teams to enhance the customer experience and bring a voice of the customer to Valley
Capacity to present well-reasoned and data-driven proposals in both verbal and written form
Responsible for monitoring order flow within territories and making the adjustments as needed.
Performance Manage employees, as appropriate
Deliver resolutions in a prompt, positive and professional manner, resolving any escalated issues
Track and distribute daily sales activity of all whole and part good orders, cancellations and invoicing
Travels 5-10%, domestically including overnights
Reports to the Sr. Manager, Global Customer Experience and supports all markets equally
Directly lead up to 5-10 employees
Required Qualifications of Every Candidate (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
Preferred Bachelors with 5+ years relevant experience or Associates Degree with 7+ years relevant experience or 9+ years of relevant experience
Practical knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Salesforce and Service Cloud experience
Ability to use independent judgment and initiative when performing job duties
Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
Self-starter and team player who can successfully interact with all levels of employees and dealers
Passion and integrity with the drive to excel and deliver exceptional results
Strong problem solving, planning, communication and motivational skills
Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy while working in a fast paced environment with multiple deadlines and time constraints
Exceptional organizational and telephone skills
Deductive reasoning ability to formulate answers to specific questions that make sense
Ability to work independently, establishing priorities, anticipating potential schedule deviations and modifying own work schedule as needed to insure continuity of workflow
Highly Qualified Candidates Will Also Possess These Qualifications:
Knowledge of irrigation dealer networks
Professional work experience within the irrigation or agricultural industry
Seven years of prior customer experience preferred

Working Environment and Physical Efforts:
Work is typically performed in an office setting. The incumbent is regularly required to sit for extended periods of time, as well as talk and listen on the phone and in personal conversations or meetings. Environment is fast paced and demanding most of the time. No travel requirements for this position. This position requires movement around and mainly in the office environment for 95% of their shift. The remainder of the shift could require a small amount of filing, which would require the incumbent to lift, carry, bend kneel, reach during the course of the time while doing the filing.
