Bellevue,WA - Remote with travel *

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for maximizing profitability and sales within the assigned region. Reporting to the Site Pro 1 National Sales Manager, the position is responsible for managing the promotion and sales of Valmont Site Pro 1 products within their assigned area to include developing, servicing, maintaining, and expanding their sales accounts. The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for reporting results, performance information, and market information for the region. This is to be accomplished in a manner, which increases the overall success of Valmont Site Pro 1 to maximize the assigned areas' total potential for component product sales.

Essential Functions

  • Building relationships for Valmont Site Pro 1.

  • Managing all aspects of the customer’s relationship including technical support, quoting, assisting in order logistics and account receivable collections

  • Maintain accurate and up to date customer information

  • General new business and grow sales throughout the assigned territory

  • Develop and execute annual objectives with National Sales Manager

  • Manage sales and distribution of products and services offered by the company, including promotion and market development within the region

  • Identifying potential products which would be of benefit within the assigned market

  • Collaborate with organizational internal operations and team members to ensure we are providing a fully satisfactory customer experience for our clients

Other Important Details about the Role:

  • This role requires up to 50% travel domestically, including overnight stays

  • Develop and maintain proper human relations skills in order to handle customer, vendor, and team member situations (both internally and externally)

  • Continued education on products and technical knowledge for proper application into the market

  • Assist the company in other regions and during special events by travelling outside the region

Required Qualifications of Every Candidate (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

  • Preferred Bachelors with 6+ years relevant experience or Associates Degree with 8+ years relevant experience or 10+ years of relevant experience

  • Minimum of two years’ experience as a product or sales representative

  • Technical experience and knowledge of Microsoft products, as well as other relevant software

  • Ability to organize and manage multiple, simultaneous priorities

  • Strong leadership, problem solving and planning skills

  • Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy, while working in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Passion and integrity with the drive to excel and deliver exceptional results

Highly Qualified Candidates Will Also Possess These Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, or relevant field

  • Prior experience within the wireless infrastructure or industrial products arena

Working Environment and Physical Efforts:

Work is typically performed in an office setting. The incumbent is regularly required to sit for extended periods of time, as well as talk and listen on the phone and in personal conversations or meetings. Environment is fast paced and demanding most of the time. The employee frequently is required to use hands while working in the office with various files and forms and while working on the computer. The employee is occasionally required to move about the office. Incumbent must utilize proper ergonomic safeguards such as monitor height and positions, keyboard location and height and proper wrists rests. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds in working with large files, binders, and computer equipment. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
