Description
As a member of Technology Customer Success team, you will be responsible for ensuring users of Prospera’s technology products are fully trained on its use and available features. Technology products and services include Prospera, AgSense, BaseStation, Icon, Scheduling, Plant, and Irrigation Insights. You will support the overall technical sales team by maximizing coverage to gain market share through supporting and training the dealer and customers.
Further, you will be a knowledge point of contact and advise management from your direct market knowledge on policies, programs, objectives, and procedures as they apply to product, service, training, warranty, market share, distribution, parts, innovation, and technology.
You will work cross functionally with team members from Prospera, AgSense, and Valley to resolve anydealer and grower satisfaction issues. This position is responsible for assisting the service department on technical product warranties and services for dealers in North America.
You will also take full ownership of proper training of Valley and AgSense dealers and territory sales managers on installation and operation of Prospera, AgSense and Valley technical products and services. You will also be responsible for managing Certified Dealer Agreement requirements among participating dealers annually.
You will conduct Dealer training with support from appropriate subject matter experts and will travel to dealer and grower locations to perform the training. You will also conduct grower facing technology training at Dealer hosted events and attend regional trade shows to support the dealer network.
This position covers North America and is therefore not assigned a specific territory boundary.
Requirements
-Bachelors with 4+ years relevant experience OR Associates Degree with 6+ years relevant experience
-Two years’ experience working directly with dealer sales and service personal
-Ability to travel in local area and internationally , if assigned, up to 75% of the time
-Ability to resolve complex problems and large challenges
-Ability to establish and cultivate excellent working relationships with dealers and customers
-Strategic thinking ability with tactical and detailed execution
- Expertise in the use of influence, team participation, consensus building and dealer/customer/grower
communication
-Ability to work within a broader sales team to achieve company goals
-Passion and integrity with the drive to excel and deliver exceptional results
Highly Desired Qualifications
-A bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, Agricultural Mechanization and Business, Agricultural
Sciences (agronomy, soil science, crop production, etc.), Mechanized Agriculture or Agricultural
Economics
-Experience with mechanized irrigated agriculture and irrigation scheduling
-Experience with customer Success management for ag technologies
-Experience using Salesforce
-Experience working with RTK GPS equipment, single and multi-frequency GPS equipment, and/or
cellular communications networks
-Strong understanding of electronics, computerized control modules, VHF (very high frequency)/UHF
(ultra-high frequency) communication methods, satellite and cellular communication technologies, PLC
(programmable logic controllers) and GPS (global positioning system) technologies
