Job Summary :
Direct maintenance personnel on a daily basis.
Adjust maintenance schedules as needed to insure 24 hours of maintenance coverage while Manufacturing is operating.
Maintain safety, quality, efficiency, and housekeeping during his/her shift.
Maintain housekeeping throughout the department while ensuring DHEC and OSHA requirements are met.
Maintain replacement parts and equipment inventories to minimize machine downtimes.
Source replacement parts and equipment and develop requisitions for their purchase.
Trouble shoot and repair electronic and electrical systems to include HPA pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, as well as mechanical systems.
Direct and perform preventive maintenance task to reduce unplanned down time.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to adapt to changes.
Ability to lead, guide and motivate.
Ability to step in and assist with regards to absenteeism.
High level of technical trouble shooting
Blue print and electrical schematic reading and understanding
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO PERFORM THE DUTIES OF THE JOB:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
LIFTING/OTHER PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS TO PERFORM THE DUTIES OF THE JOB:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands; talk; hear; stand and walk, Heavy lifting 60lbs. – 80lbs
LICENSING OR OTHER SPECIAL CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Forklift License
- Electronic trouble shooting and repair, Electrical experience to include single and three phase power systems. Associates degree in mechatronics preferred.
