Keeping the Material Controller supplied with materials, tools and supplies
Operates a variety of grinding machines and other hand tools; grind/clean galvanized material and/or attached parts.
Working from the directions of the supervisor to complete the job requirements.
Accountable and responsible for essential tools and equipment provided along wwith the maintenance of these tools and equipment.
Perform operator’s inspections on the crane and forklifts.
Actively participate in department safety, demonstrate excellent safety practices and behaviors which conform to all Valmont safety policies and procedures.
High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge of various cranes, forklifts and hand tools.
Ability to prioritize work in order to complete deadlines. Must also be able to work through problem with the minimum amount of assistance from the leadperson or the supervisor.
Ability to work timely and expeditiously to deliver an on-time result without errors.
