A Brief Summary of This Position:
The Inside Sales/Customer Service Manager is responsible for interfacing with various internal and external customers, providing leadership and guidance to project administrators and training in our order processing and order management systems. The position has multiple responsibilities including:
Customer service leader and face of the organization locally
Management of Component Sales Representative team
Provide recruiting, performance evaluations and retention activities
Results reporting and management - KPIs
Partnership with other leaders including Operations, Engineering, Sales, Accounting, etc.
Improving the customer experience
Quote accuracy and timeliness
Order management and input
Delivery tracking and customer communications
Determines quality issues and resolution
Leads the overall customer service training initiatives for Site Pro 1
Key contributor to identifying and improving tools for customer service
Evaluating customer expectations and company deliverables
Keeping necessary training material current
Essential Functions:
This position reports to the Assistant General Manager, Site Pro 1 and has approximately fifteen direct reports
This role requires that the incumbent is knowledgeable of and/or capable of learning all products offered in the Site Pro 1 group
Ability to deliver resolutions in a prompt, positive & professional manner resolving any escalated issues

Understand Customer Quality and Delivery expectations in addition to contracted requirements of orders through discussions/documentation with Commercial team(s)
Coordinate multi-site projects and, where appropriate, act as point of contact for customers on projects produced across multiple sites
Ensure unified communication to customer
Assist Commercial team in development of customer serving tools
Review all customer conflicts and work with appropriate teams to offer an effective solution when necessary
Manage multiple projects through all phases of the process
Recommend and Implement any solutions that will offer retention of current customers and acquisition of new ones
Lead, train and motivate Customer Service Teams by assuring that they have the necessary tools they need to provide excellent customer service
Required Qualifications of Every Candidate (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
Preferred Bachelor’s with 6+ years relevant experience or Associate’s Degree with 8+ years relevant experience or 10+ years of relevant experience
Proficiency with MS Office and ERP System
Excellent communication skills
Ability to remain courteous when dealing with negative situations
Ability to assist in hiring, training & retaining employees in the component sales department
Ability to evaluate and monitor employee work performance.
Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Skill in producing reports, presentations and letters as required
Ability to use considerable judgment to work independently towards team and organizational goals
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Highly Qualified Candidates Will Also Possess These Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Marketing, Business, or Project Management
Knowledge of product line and production process
Knowledge of Lean Methodologies and ability to apply Lean techniques to problem solving
Knowledge of specifications, commercial contracts, terms and conditions
Working Environment and Physical Efforts:
Work is typically performed in an office setting. The incumbent is regularly required to sit for extended periods of time, as well as talk and listen on the phone and in personal conversations or meetings. Environment is fast paced and demanding most of the time. Travel will be required in support of the duties. While visiting the manufacturing areas of the plant, use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is required at all times. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms while working in the office with various files and forms and while working on the computer. The employee is occasionally required to move about the office. Incumbent must utilize proper ergonomic safeguards such as monitor height and positions, keyboard location and height and proper wrists rests. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds in working with large files, binders, and computer equipment. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
